After a rousing sendoff at Vidor High School, Vidor athletes Raegan Stephenson and Blake Richards are off the Austin for the State Track Meet and will compete Thursday. Stephenson will compete in the Girls High Jump at 9 a.m. and Richards in the boys 300m hurdles at 7:10 p.m. Good luck to both!

Vidor High School’s Lazaro Lugo was inadvertently left out of an article about Vidor Pirate athletes qualifying for the April 19-20 4A Region 3 Track Meet held in Bullard. Lugo placed 4th in the Long Jump at the Area Track Meet in West Orange with a jump of 19’ 6” to qualify for Regionals.
