Traffic stop in Orange yields 2.5 kg of meth

On Saturday, February 1st, 2025, at about 4:02 AM, the City of Orange Police Department and Texas Department of Public Safety conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of Masonic Drive. The traffic stop was a part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of methamphetamine.

AUSTIN – Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) laid the groundwork for a new state park in Central Texas with the purchase of 2,020 acres in Burnet County.The property includes two miles along the Colorado River and is located across the river from Colorado Bend State Park.
