Linda Lou Burnett, 74, of Vidor, passed away peacefully in her home on August 18, 2021. Linda was born in Vidor, Texas on April 7, 1947 to Lou and Bessie Smith and remained a lifelong resident where she was a homemaker. She married the love of her life, Howard "Andy" Burnett on April 20, 1985.

Ashlee Diann Guidry-Bean, 35, of Vidor, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor where she was a member of Turning Point Church. She loved crafting, making jewelry, drawing, and shopping.

Willie Merle Brister

Willie "Maw Maw" Merle Brister, 99, of Vidor died Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and grew up in Sour Lake, Willie was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and a retired Cafeteria Worker for VISD for 30 years.

Richard W. Brister, 59 of Vidor died Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, TX. Richard was a native and lifelong resident of Vidor. He was boat captain for Ryan Marine in Galveston, TX. Richard enjoyed playing golf and spending time with grandchildren.

Mary E. Ayers, 72 of Vidor died Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Mary was a member of Friendship Bible Baptist Church in Vidor and was a house keeper at local hotels, nursing homes and schools.

Lillie P. Mott, 82 of Vidor died Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Brookeland, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Lillie attended New Beginnings Church in Evadale, TX.

Madeline "Brandy" Carrol Rogers

Brandy Rogers, 66 of Vidor died Monday, August 16th, 2021 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Woodville, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Brandy was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mike W. Lukenbill

Mike W. Lukenbill, 69 of Vidor died Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at Vidor Health and Rehab. A native of Port Arthur, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Mike was the owner/operator of Mike's Hardware in Vidor. He loved classic cars, music and football.

Phyllis A. Kelly

Phyllis A. Kelly, 84 of Conroe died Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 at Conroe Heath Care Center in Conroe, TX. A native of Foxworth, MS, she was a longtime resident of Beaumont before moving to Cypress, TX 3 1/2 years ago. Phyllis was in Administrative positions at Neches Butane.
