RICHARD "RICKY" HERMAN JOHNSON

Richard "Ricky" Herman Johnson, 63 of Vidor, TX, passed away on Monday, August 30th, 2021 in Beaumont, TX, after a lengthy, strong fight with kidney failure. Ricky was born to James Evert "Jimmy" Johnson and Betty Lou Spears on August 23, 1958. He went to school in Vidor, TX.

Martha Ann Kirk, 67, of Vidor, died Friday, August 27th, 2021 in Nacogdoches. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and member of Vidor United Methodist Church. She was a bus driver for VISD for many years and loved her job and the children.

Lola Smith, 88, longtime resident of Vidor went to be with our Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 25th, 2021. A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a Beautician in Beaumont for many years.

Mary Ellen Roebuck Braneff

Mary Ellen Roebuck Braneff passed away at College Street Health Center on September 4, 2021, at the age of 85 surrounded by her loving family. Mary passed after a long, heartbreaking battle with Alzheimer’s. It robbed her of her intellect, her personality, and eventually her life.

Frank A. Talcott Sr.

Frank A. Talcott Sr., 77 of Vidor died Monday, August 30th, 2021 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He was a native and a lifelong resident of Vidor. Frank retired after 38 years from Huntsman as an outside machinist. He enjoyed watching nascar and loved working.

Billy Ray Gilbert, 79, of Vidor died Friday, August 27th, 2021 at his residence. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and was the Owner-Operator of Acme Inc.

Joseph “Paw” Newmann

Joe "Paw" Newmann, 55, of Vidor, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 11th, 2021, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was the owner of Newmann's Collision in Beaumont since 1996.

Brian "Smitty" Steven Smith

Brian "Smitty" Steven Smith, 42 of Beaumont died Friday, August 27th, 2021 at his residence. He was a native and a longtime resident of Beaumont. Smitty was raised in Vidor and graduated from Vidor High School class of 97.

Bobby Wayne Jones

Bobby Wayne Jones, 61, of Vidor died Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Vidor and a member of Pecan Acres Baptist Church, he worked as a Construction Supervisor for SWLA Constructors out of Sulphur, Louisiana.

Danny McIntosh

Danny McIntosh, 74, of Vidor, passed away Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Houston. He was a longtime resident of Vidor. He served his country during Vietnam with the U.S. Army. He loved online shopping, flying his drone, collecting cars, and was an avid TV critic.
