Pirates sweep LCM The Vidor Pirates defeated the LCM Bears with a 4-3 home win Tuesday and added the coup de grâce Friday at LCM by a score of 7-4. At Vidor, trailing 3-2, the Pirates scored two in the bottom of the 6th when Westin Baker singled to score Cade Safer from third.

The Vidor Lady Pirates defeated the WOS Lady Mustangs 24-0 in three innings Friday with Natalie Morrison turning in a stellar performance on the mound and at the plate. Morrison went 4 for 4 with 6 RBI’s to lead the Lady Pirates in batting.

Pirates fall in bi-district playoff to Huffman 1-0

The Vidor Pirates were defeated 1-0 in their bidistrict playoff match with Huffman Friday at Memorial Stadium in Beaumont. Huffman scored in the first period against a tough Pirate defense and in spite of numerous attempts, neither team could find the net in the second.

Lady Pirates Powerlifting earn medals at state meet

The Vidor Lady Pirate Powerlifters qualifying for the state meet held in Frisco last week brought home honors for the Vidor ISD. Camryn Barragan won the 4A D1 123 lb Class and set a State Record for Bench Press at 250 pounds, eclipsing the previous record of 215 pounds.
