Lady Pirate Powerlifters place at State, new record set
Vidor’s Lady Pirate Powerlifting team took part in the state powerlifting meet over the weekend and returned with three top three finishes that includes a repeat State Champion and a new state record lift.
Sage Grooms, a senior lifting in the 165 pound class, was a repeat State Champion setting a new record deadlift of 460 pounds to earn the Outstanding Deadlift Award.
