Shirley Marie Robin 86, of Vidor, Texas Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, at Vidor Health and Rehab. After marrying her lifelong love, J.D. Robin, in 1957, the couple made Vidor their home. In 1963, they opened Robin’s Grocery and Seafood, a cherished local establishment that became a pillar of the community. Above all, Shirley’s greatest pride was her family. Her love and wisdom will continue to guide them. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.D. Robin; her son, Jeff Robin; her parents; and her siblings. She is survived by her children, Gary Robin of Vidor, TX; Ginger Buford of Vidor, TX; and Nancy Bailey of Orange, TX; as well as her stepson, Tommy Robin of South Carolina. Shirley was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and strength.
