Sandra Jean Cox, 77, of Vidor, Texas, went to be with her Lord and her beloved husband, Gilbert, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A longtime resident of Vidor, Sandra was a devoted homemaker, a faithful member of Rose City Baptist Church, and a woman of deep and abiding faith who loved the Lord with all her heart. Married to Gilbert Cox for 51 beautiful years, Sandra cherished her family above all else, treating each member as a precious gift. An active member of her church, Sandra was a woman who embodied grace, humility, and devotion. She enjoyed John Wayne and Elvis Presley, finding joy in their classic films and music. She is survived by her children, Pamela Cox of Vidor, TX, Peggy Jackson of Silsbee, TX, and Robin Root of Lumberton, TX; her sister Paula Netterville of Vidor, TX; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
