Megan Leigh Cryer, age 62, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Megan was known for her warm smile and her dedication to her family and community. Megan found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her loving and nurturing spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, James Nicholas Cryer of Vidor, Texas; her daughter, Leigha Michelle Bortz of Vidor, Texas; her brother, Todd Rainwater of Blanchard, Oklahoma; and her six grandsons. Megan is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nephews who will cherish her memory.
