MaryNell Vavra, 71, went home to be with the Lord; Saturday April 24, 2021. She had been hospitalized at Ascension Saint Thomas-Rutherford hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. Born is Silsbee, TX August 31, 1949, she was a longtime resident of Vidor, TX. She had lived in the Nashville, TN area since 1999 and settled in La Vergne TN in 2018. She was a member of The Pentecostals of Smyrna church in Smyrna, TN. She was a retired bookkeeper for several automotive dealerships, including the family dealership, Buller & Buller, in Vidor. She was also a professional singer, inspired by her uncle country singer George Jones. She met her musician husband on the road. The two later settled in Vidor and became active in their church. They served in the music ministry for many years. She loved her family and friends, and looked forward to visiting at Christmas. She desired to permanently move back home to Texas. She loved cooking, shopping and decorating, and was skilled at tile work. One of the joys in her life were her Schipperke dogs, which she took everywhere with her. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Watson-North Funeral Home in Winchester, TN. A memorial service will be held May 7th, Friday 6pm at the Vidor United Pentecostal church.

MaryNell was preceded in death by her parents Jesse Buller & Doris Jones Buller, brothers Mike Buller and Don Buller, and grandchild Cody Osborne. She is survived by husband Bob Vavra of La Vergne, TN; Her sons David & Melany Osborne of Bon Weir, TX; John & Stephanie Osborne of Beaumont TX. Sisters Gina & Scott Browne of Beaumont, TX; Catherine Buller of The Netherlands. Brother J.W. & Keila Buller of Vidor, TX. Grandchildren Summer Osborne, Kenneth Hudson, Keeley Hudson, Dylan Osborne, Danielle Osborne. Greatgrandchild Bradley Osborne.
