Mark J. Oldbury

Mark J. Oldbury, 65 of Mauriceville died Thursday, December 31st, 2020 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, Texas, he was a lifelong resident of Vidor. Mark retired as a maintenance welder for the City of Vidor after 20 years. Mark loved fishing with his wife, especially for big red fish. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and drag racing. Mark liked to go 4 wheeling, raising cattle and tractor work. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the funeral will start at 2:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 at their residence, 6425 Marshall Willey Rd. with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Mark was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Oldbury and Louisa Mae Jones, sister Cloy Jean Ward and son Mark Julian Oldbury Jr.. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Judy Oldbury of Mauriceville, TX, daughters Melissa Oldbury of Allen, TX, and Caleena Hannon and her husband Tony of Mauriceville, TX, sister Ladean Taylor and her husband Kirby of Vidor, TX, brother Doug Oldbury of Vidor, TX, step-mother Mary Oldbury, step-sisters Tracy and husband Jeff Campbell, Terri Corrigan, step-brother Pate Corrigan, grandsons Marshall Oldbury, Tanner Hannon and Gavin Gentry all of Mauriceville, TX.
