Mark Edwin Durmon, 53, of Rose City, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Mark was a longtime resident of Rose City and worked for many years as a welder with Cust-o-Fab. He had a love for offshore saltwater fishing, working in his shop, cooking, and shopping. Mark especially cherished time spent with his mom picking fresh vegetables, which he often used to create his own sauces. He enjoyed playing games and faced life’s challenges with strength, including the loss of two homes to hurricanes. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Dawn Boardman of Rose City; his parents, Ricky and Patsy Durmon of Vidor, TX; stepchildren Madison Burge of Orange, TX, Christopher Saurage of Vidor, TX, and Brandon Saurage of Vidor, TX; and five grandchildren who brought joy to his life.
