Marjorie Elizabeth Revia, 92, of Vidor, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 23rd, 2020. Born in Beaumont, on September 3, 1928 to Charlie Mathis and Francis Elizabeth Johnson. She met the love her life Gilbert Adam (Buck) Revia, in church. They celebrated 75years of marriage on June 11. Born to them were five children: Judith Revia Pillow, Larry Gilbert Revia, Steven Keith Revia, Shelia Revia Simmons, and Scott Randall Revia. "Margie" was an amazing wife and mother, a woman of great love and talents. Marjorie and Buck lived for the Lord and were faithful followers and brought many the plan of salvation. She loved reading, especially her Bible, sewing, baking, singing, painting, needlepoint, crocheting, gardening, puzzles, and games with family and an abundance of friends. She was an accomplished seamstress and awarded quilter. Margie was an excellent hostess who loved entertaining. A faithful member of Rose City Baptist Church and a home filled with the love of the Lord with prayer warriors and bible studies. Preceded in death by her husband Buck, sons Larry and Steven Keith, and daughter Shelia. Survived by her daughter judy, son Scott, and sister Glenda Galyean, grandchildren Ami Hall, Trent Pillow, Adam Revia, Ben Simmons, Kris Revia, and Eric Revia, great grandchildren Alex, Bret, and Caleb Hall, Alden Revia, Shelby Morgan, and Gavyn Simmons, Hunter, Mason, and Callan Revia, and a great-great grandson Knox Baron Hall. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm with funeral services at 2:00 pm at Rose City Baptist Church with burial at Holland Cemetery in Kountze. Pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons. Contributions may be made to Rose City Baptist Church building fund in honor of Marjorie Revia.
