Lavoy Wilkerson III, 52, of Vidor, passed away on August 19th, 2023, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. He was a longtime resident of Vidor and had attended Turning Point Church. Lavoy dedicated over 30 years to his role as an industrial painter supervisor at Partners Industrial, formerly Brock. Nature was his sanctuary, where Lavoy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and grilling for friends. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A Memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM August 23, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Lavoy is survived by his children, Hannah Netterville of Vidor, TX, Lavoy Hunter Wilkerson and Haylee Wilkerson both of Nederland, TX. He was also a proud grandfather of 3, Also surviving him are his father, Lavoy Wilkerson Jr and wife Cathy, sister Lisa Wilkerson.
