John Price Ross, 61, of Vidor, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, after a hard-fought battle with Primary Hepatocellular carcinoma. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, John made Vidor his home for many years. Though he had some dark times in life he always fought to find his light. Later in life he found a loving and supportive church community that helped set him on a better path and focus on things that truly mattered. In his final years he found the love of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This love helped him to become a better man and he was truly grateful for their influence in his life. John is survived by his son, David Bertrand of Beaumont, TX; his brothers, William Robert Ross Jr. of Midland, TX, and Matthew Ross of Beaumont, TX; his sisters, Julana Phenix of Colorado Springs, CO, and Laura Price of Rexburg, ID. He also leaves behind two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will never be
