Jim Charles Lott, Jr., affectionately known as “the Preacher”, was the only child born to the late Rev. Jim Lott and Mildred Lott on September 10, 1944, in Weatherford, TX. After more than 13 years of battling Parkinson’s Disease, on Friday, May 30, 2025, Charles finally won the battle by opening his eyes in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout his life, Charles influenced the lives of many people who trusted Christ as their personal Savior, were grounded in the sound doctrines of the Word of God, and many who continue to serve the Lord in various other ministries. He leaves to cherish fond memories; his wife of 62 years, Sarah Clementine Lott, three children and their spouses; David Lott, of San Ramon, Peru; Laura Daigle, of Bulverde, TX; Amy Dischler, of Beaumont, TX; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind two brothers: Johnny Lott of Temecula, CA, and Ray Rafols of Weatherford, TX.
