Jeanne Goetschius, 91, passed away at her home in Vidor, Texas on Monday, December 9, 2024, surrounded by her family. Jeanne was a devoted wife, loving mother, supportive daughter, and loyal friend. She loved sewing for her daughters and granddaughters. She enjoyed scrapbooking, circle the word books, and playing cards and dominoes with friends. In her later years, she renewed her interest in piano, becoming proficient at playing her favorite hymns and popular music. Jeanne was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, enjoying Bible studies, fellowship, and volunteering. She was a former member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Red Hat Society. Jeanne is survived by her son Bobby Goetschius of Vidor, daughter Dianne Thomas of Vidor, daughter Cheryl Goetschius of Spring, son Jack Goetschius of Beaumont, and daughter Debra Goetschius of Spring. Her 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.. As well as numerous grand-fur babies.
