HUNTER WAYNE KORICANEK MARCH 18, 2005 — MAY 4, 2025
Hunter Wayne Koricanek, 20, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Vidor, Hunter had a love for the outdoors and a fearless, adventurous spirit. He found joy in fishing, hunting, team roping, and riding four-wheelers—especially when surrounded by his friends and family. Known for his playful personality, he had a gift for “messing with people” just to make them laugh. Hunter is survived by his parents, Shanna and Kevin Saunders of Vidor, TX, and Joseph and Stacy Koricanek of Phoenix, AZ; his brothers, Brock Saunders and Tallen Koricanek; and his girlfriend, Bralie Hutchinson of Kirbyville, TX. He also leaves behind his grandparents: Steve and Melody Clayton, Joe and Laura Koricanek, grandfather Chuck Saunders, and grandmother Dena Gregory; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
