Doretta Marie Moorman, 78, of Vidor, passed away on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, at her residence. Born in Kinder, LA, she was a cherished member of the Vidor community. Doretta found solace in her faith as a member of First United Methodist Church. Professionally, she served as a dedicated bookkeeper for Golden Commercial Refrigeration and The Refrigeration Company. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching westerns, reading Louis L’Amour books, and playing cards with loved ones. Doretta is survived by her children: Regina Sanders and husband Terry, Stuart Moorman and wife Wendy, and Jason Moorman and wife Jeanine. She is also survived by her brothers: Joe, Lawrence, and Don Deshotel, along with 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. May she rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in cherished memories.
