Delbert Self Jr., 82, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on May 21, 2025, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Long Beach, California, Delbert was a longtime resident of Beaumont. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Roswell Air Force Base, where he developed a strong sense of patriotism. After his military service, he enjoyed a successful career as a construction manager, overseeing various projects across the United States, including the Galleria Waterfall in the Galleria in Houston. Delbert loved his family deeply, and that love was reciprocated by his daughters, Sherry Self Boles of Vidor, TX, and Debra Ann Self Boroski of Round Rock, TX. He was a proud grandfather to 5 grandchildren who he adored, who will always remember him for his strength, unwavering support, and the love he shared with them.
