Clinton Joseph Findley, 74, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. He was a beloved member of the Vidor community, having resided there for many years.

Clinton was a devout member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, where he found solace and community. Professionally, he was the proud owner and operator of Findley’s Welding, where he demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication. Having served his country with honor in the US Marine Corps, Clinton embodied values of service and patriotism throughout his life. His love for welding was not only a profession

but also a passion that brought him joy and fulfillment. In his leisure time, Clinton found great pleasure in the simple joys of life. He cherished moments spent fishing and crabbing, especially when shared with his grandchildren. His love for nature was evident in his enjoyment of watching it and sitting on his front porch, taking in the beauty of the world around him. Above all, Clinton valued time spent with his family. He loved nothing more than talking and visiting with his loved ones, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Clinton is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda Findley of Vidor, TX, his children Hernando Ramos and wife Tamara, Tammy Hester and husband Bobby, Carlos Ramos and wife Casandra, Angie Sauer, Brandy Laird, and Sherry Poole and husband Randy. He is also survived by his siblings, Karen Wilson and husband Kevin of Anahuac, TX, and Kevin Findley and wife Marianne of Warren, TX, as well as nephews Shawn Easley and wife Kim, niece Kasie Noack and her daughters Jennifer and Bryttan Noack and her son Noah, along with 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Findley and Margie Findley, and his sister, Mary Findley. Clinton Joseph Findley will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, his memory cherished forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
