Byron M. Ready

Byron M. Ready, 88 of Vidor died Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at his residence. A native of Magnolia, Texas, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Byron was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. He was a active member of the church and was head usher. Byron was a instrumentation technician with Gulf/ Chevron 38 years before retiring. He enjoyed photography, reading and woodworking. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and a rosary at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, January 8, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. Bryon is survived by his wife of 48 years Dora Ready of Vidor, TX, sons Byron Ray Ready and his wife Tara of League City, TX, Bryan Lee Ready and his wife Nisha of Vidor, TX, Dr. Michael Duren Ready and his wife Debbie of Temple, TX, daughter Terri Fay Rodriquez and her husband Felix of Austin, TX, brother Kenneth L. Ready and his wife Annita of Carson City, NV, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one the way.
