Barney Lymoin Crosby, age 74, passed away December 1, 2020 in Kingman, Arizona. Formerly of southeast Texas, Barney was born to the late James Arthur Crosby and Reda Mae Hite in Silsbee, Texas. He was one of 15 children, including 3 sets of twins, all but four of those have gone on before him now.

Barney was a hard working man, spending time in Las Vegas as Head of Security for El Cortez, Western,, Ambassador. He was a Jack of All Trades.. working and owning tire shops in Beaumont.. He worked as a cook in his younger days. But his main profession that he loved doing and retired at after about 44 years was driving an 18 wheeler. He worked for many different companies over the years, but mostly for Atrium/ Ryder which is where he retired. . He served in Vietnam in the Army from 1967-1970. While there he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal : w/2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal, Purple Heart and Sharpshooter (Rifle). Just some of the words to describe Barney were; kind hearted, genuine, strong and one with unwavering love. He truly was an amazing man who leaves behind a true legacy and many who will miss him.

Left to cherish his memory are. his children: Sandy (Butch) Stone, Lisa Joe (Tony) Catron, Kathleen (Carlos) Hull, Amber Scott, Robyn Hensley , Leslie (Tim) Andrews and Andrea Fairbanks .

His brothers Elmer Crosby, Dudley Crosby and Micheal (Linda) Crosby and a sister Gwen Stephens.

He loved his grandchildren so much and leaves behind 18 of them to remember all the silly jokes and pranks he would play on them. His grandchildren are Jennifer, Brandy, Tyler, Aleczander, Andrew, Brianna, Brittany, Angel, Courtney, Kylie, Charlie, Caleb, Satyn, Saydee, KC, Audrie, Jediaih, Elizabeth He also leaves behind 9 Great grandchildren who sadly will never get to experience that fun with Papaw Barney.

There will be a memorial service in the Summer . Details to follow at a later date.
