Lois Louise Blanchette LaBrie, of Vidor, Texas passed away on Tuesday, September 5th 2023 at the age of 74. Lois was a nurse. She went to school in her 30s, earning her R.N. degree from Lamar University in 1989. Lois adored Christmas and everything to do with Christmas.
She had a ser- vant's heart.
We will forever remember her this way, our comical, honest, caring, Memaw, and nurturing mother, and friend. She was also one of the most forgiving women there ever was.
A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Turning Point Church in Vidor. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James “Jimmy” LaBrie; daught ers, Michelle Fawcett (Randy) of Ragley, LA, Tammy Dickerson (Donald) of China, TX, Nicole Warwick (Ross) of Vidor, TX; sisters, Evelyn “Lynn” Carlson (Don) of Alamogordo, NM, Katherine “Sue” Soileau (Bob) of Lake Charles, LA, Geanie Stutes (David) of Lafayette, LA; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
