Darrell Bruce Roberts, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud veteran, passed away on Friday, August 25th, 2023, at the age of 75, surrounded by his family at his home in Bridge City, TX. He had been a longtime resident of Vidor, TX. Darrell's is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janelle Roberts of Bridge City, TX, creating a life filled with love and shared experiences. His daughters, Cathi Holmes of Vidor, TX; Patti Roberts of Bridge City, TX; and Jami Roberts of Vidor, TX, were a source of pride and joy in his life. He is also survived by his brother James McKinney of Tomball, TX, and his sister Darline Trahan of Magnolia, TX and 7 grandchildren. The family will have a visitation on Monday, August 28, 2023, at New Hope Church of God from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service in celebration of Darrell's life will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at New Hope Church of God at 2:00 PM, followed by interment at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor.
