The Vidor Pirates travelled to Silsbee Friday for a non- conference battle with kickoff moved back to 8 p.m. due to the oppressive heat and humidity. Silsbee’s speed was evident as the Tigers jumped out to a 7-0 lead on their first possession as QB Michael Moshier fired a quick pass over the middle to Ashton Cartwright, who went on a 65 yard ramble up the middle of the field for the Tiger score…
