VISD Technology continues to advance

Vidor I.S.D. schools are continuing their pace towards technology goals set in 2015 after the school district brought in an outside agency to audit the entire district’s technological strengths and weaknesses. During a report presented to the School District’s Board of Trustees last week, the District Director of Technology, Janet Bradley, told trustees that the school district is on track with the 2015 plan to update technology throughout the district. Ms. Bradley said that the School District now has a Dell™ computer in every classroom in the district. Ninety-eight percent of the school district’s classroom teachers have a laptop computer that they are allowed to take home with them to prepare educational components during their off time.
