Shirley Jean Norton, 87 passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Rayburn Health and Rehabilitation in Jasper, TX. Shirley was born in Edom, TX, and had been a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas, for the majority of her life. Above all, Shirley's greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family was at the center of her world, and she cherished every moment shared with them, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come. Shirley leaves behind a loving legacy, survived by her three children: Shirlon Henderson of Baytown, TX; Mark of Jasper, TX; Wesley Norton of Vidor, TX. She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to five greatgrandchildren.
