Lloyd Allen Lanclos, who went by Allen, age 90, of Vidor, Texas passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023, surrounded by family. Allen was born in his mater- nal grandparent's home in Arnaudville, Louisiana on November 15, 1932, to Marie Francis DeKerlegand and Joseph Elie Lanclos. While he was in high school, he joined the Naval Reserve serving four years and receiving an honorable discharge. Allen is survived by his wife, Margie Lanclos; his three daughters, Phyllis LaCaze, Janet Daniels, and Carol Draney; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary ( Sis) Robinson. Allen was loved by many and a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, fatherin- law, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. The family would like to express gratitude for the example he left them and to the many friends and family that have reached out in support during their time of grief.
