Leonard 'Buddy' Huffman, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, June 11th, 2023 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He was 73 years old. Buddy was a retired construction worker and preacher. Buddy was a beloved member of the Rose City Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Rose City Baptist Church, followed by burial at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Huffman of Vidor, TX, children Larry Allen Hadaway and his wife Donna of Vidor, TX; Louis Shane Hadaway and his wife Elizabeth of Shelby County, TX; Georgette LeBouff and her husband Ernest of Bridge City, TX; and Anthony Wade Huffman of Vidor, TX, brothers Dennis Huffman of Gena, LA, and John Thomas Huffman of Yazoo, MS, nine grandchildren and seven greatg randchildren.
