Vincent Dominick James, 83 of Vidor died Monday October 10th, 2022 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. A native of Plaquemine, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Vincent retired from Goodyear Chemical in Beaumont after 40 years as a mechanic and a draftsman. Vincent, a lifelong Catholic attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. He was a member of Vidor Knights of Columbus council #5789. Vincent the youngest of 21 children was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Barbara Ann, parents Carlo James and Lena James, and 20 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his fiancé and companion of 8 years Linda Thomas, sons Russell James and his wife Carolyn of Vidor, TX, Bobby James of Vidor, TX, and Randy James of Vidor, TX, grandchildren Jessie, Aaron, Sarah, Kristin, Kevin, Michael, Marcus, Breanna and Dalton, great grandchildren Violet and Amelia.
