Helen Palmer Burford, 98, of Vidor, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 . She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Vidor where she served on the Kitchen Team, Building Committee and other areas. She was a member of the Joy Club and the Glory Singers. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. Her heart was to minister to othe rs, especially other widows. She loved going to the beach and playing games, especially hand and foot. She loved to travel as well. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation, Monday, September 26th, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Vidor From 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 also at First Baptist Church of Vidor. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas. She is survived by her son Randy Burford of Vidor, TX, and her daughter by another mother Bettye Leslie as well as two grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Vidor elder care fund.
