Lady Pirates notch second district win 6-2 over Silsbee

The Vidor Lady Pirates defeated the Lady Tigers in Vidor Tuesday 6-2 for their second district win. Behind 1-0 in the second inning, Keaira McCurley drew a walk with one out, then stole second on a wild pitch. A line drive to left field by Brilie Cornelison scored McCurley to tie the game 1-1. Brooklyn Bushelle bunted and reached first on an error while Cornelison advanced to third base. …
