Julie Faye Saunders

Julie Faye Saunders, 60, of Vidor died Monday, February 14th, 2022 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. She was a kindergarten teacher at Oak Forest Elementary School and retired after 30 years. She enjoyed watching Nascar and was a fan of Vidor Pirate Football. She never missed a Pirate game for 39 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. There will be a visitation Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The funeral Service will take place Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place afterward at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughters Lexi and husband T.J. Parkerson of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Ashley Ellis of Vidor, TX, mother Hazel Courts of Vidor, TX, sisters Jennifer Bourgeois of Vidor, TX, Jill and husband Paul Harper of Vidor, TX, and Jackie and husband DeWayne Farmer of Vidor, TX, 3 grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Landyn Ellis, Llano Ellis and bonus grandchildren Bryce DuBose, Kynslie Bruno and Averie Bruno, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Hal "Sonny" Courts.
