VHS student council earns statewide recognition

For out standing achievement in leadership, service, and activities  that serve to improve the school and community, Vidor High School  has been recognized by the Texas Association of  Student Councils (TASC) in the areas of Outstanding Student Council and Pride and Patriotism, as well as for submission  of its Community Service Report. Fewer than  20% of TASC member  chools are recognized in one or more areas, so this is quite an accomplishment for Vidor High School to be proud of. The TASC outstanding  school recognition program is designed to set a standard of excellence  for Texas student councils as outlined in criteria  published in state report forms. The report forms are viewed annually by the TASC Board of Directors to ensure that the recognition program is rigorous and relevant.
