The city budget anticipates general fund revenue of $6.7 million dollars and a total revenue total of $17.3 million, with $8.9 million of that coming in the form of grants going to the Special Revenue Fund. The city’s new fiscal year begins October 1.
Vidor City Council will consider a number of items Thursday when they meet at Vidor City Hall Thursday evening.
Council members are set to adopt the 2020- 2021 budget and set the tax rate for the coming fiscal year.
The proposed tax rate of $.70371 per $100 valuation is the same as last year, so unless your property valuation has increased, you should see now change in your City of Vidor tax bill.
