AUSTIN — On Aug. 15, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will launch an updated version of the official mobile app used by hunters and anglers across the state for harvest reporting, electronic onsite registration, digital license display, and more.

AUSTIN – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a notice letter to the City of Dallas directing it to withdraw the statement made by the State Fair of Texas, the organization contracted to run Fair Park during the annual event, that prohibits citizens from lawfully carrying a firearm on the premise.

Orange County ESD#1 Fire Chief Robert L. Smith reports that “on the morning of August 8, 2024, at approximately 7:13AM, your OCESD#1 Firefighters were called for a kitchen fire in the 4200 Block of E St. James. Crews arrived on scene to find smoke showing from the attic area home.
