Pine Forest and Rose City were the only two municipalities in the county to register a decline in their monthly sales tax allocation just released by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar. Pine Forest was down 61 percent compared to January 2021 while Rose City declined almost 16 percent compared to the same time period.
