State Fire Marshals are investigating the Monday evening fire that claimed the life of Noah Randell, a sith-grader at Vidor Middle School.
Firefighters on the scene said the structure was engulfed in flame when they arrived just 8 minutes after they received the call.
Little remains of the structure where an 11-year old Vidor youth perished Monday evening.
An 11-year old Vidor Middle School student, Noah Randell, died in a house fire on Austin Street Monday evening. An adult was also injured attempting to rescue the youth and was flown by medical helicopter to Galveston for treatment of his injuries, authorities said.
