Candidates, supporters and voters mingled under the shade of oak trees at the Vidor Community Center as early voting in the Republican and Democrat primary elections kicked off Tuesday. A steady stream of voters took advantage of early voting with 349 in person ballots cast in Vidor. A total of 948 ballots, both by mail (72) and in-person (877) were tallied Tuesday.
