Vidor City Council met Thursday to consider setting homestead exemption amounts for the 2024 tax year and approval of a dozen residential tax abatements.
There were no changes made to the exemption amounts with the Local Option Homestead exemption amount set at 20 percent, the maximum allowable by state law.
