BEAUMONT COMIC CON RETURNS TO FORD ARENA ON OCTOBER 15, 16, AND 17 WITH SPECIAL GUESTS

The 3rd Annual Beaumont Comic Con returns to Ford Arena on October 15, 16, and 17. Mark KidWok Britten, Justin Nimmo, Liana Ramirez, and Steve Andreno will be making an appearance. Cash prizes for the best cosplay will be given out to adults at 3PM on Saturday and 3PM on Sunday for kids.

Texas Hunting, Fishing Licenses now on sale

AUSTIN – The start of a new hunting season is right around the corner and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is reminding hunters and anglers that current year Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All-Water Fishing Package) will expire at the end of August.

The VHS Brigadette officers attended officer/leadership camp in San Antonio with Crowd Pleasers Dance. The officers were awarded a Platinum rating on their home routine, a Platinum rating on their technique dance and a High Platinum on their Creative choreography.

VHS Brigadettes score well on virtual halftime showcase

The VHS Brigadettes entered American Dance Drill Team's virtual halftime showcase. They were awarded a Division 1 on their kick dance and were also awarded (out of all entries) "Best High Kick" dance, awarded by Happy Feet boots.

Toyota ShareLunker Program enjoys banner season

The 2021 Toyota ShareLunker collection season will go in the books as one of the best in the history of the program. Anglers landed 23 ShareLunkers at 10 different lakes across the state, the most during a January through March timespan since the 1995 season which produced 27.

Local beekeeper pays a visit to Pine Forest Elementary

The second grade students at Pine Forest Elementary were treated to a visit from a local honey bee farmer Brian Muldrow from Muldrow Bee Farm in Beaumont. They got to learn about the importance of bees and the role that they play in our community.

LCJH Students named to All Region Choir
