In a nod to expected bad weather and Bridge City’s turf field, the Vidor Lady Pirates traveled to Bridge City Monday night to take on the Lady Cardinals rather than the scheduled home game Tuesday.
A Vidor error helped the Lady Cardinals jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and the Lady Pirates never caught up, giving up another 3 runs in the fifth to end up with a 6-0 loss on the road.
