The Vidor Lady Pirates travelled to Orange Friday in a game rescheduled due to weather and brought home a 13-8 victory that included a second inning grand slam by Lady Pirate slugger Andreya Garrett.

Lady Pirates fall to Lumberton 12-1

The Vidor Lady Pirate varsity softball team hosted the Lumberton Lady Raiders Tuesday for Senior Night on the final home game of the season. The Lady Raiders scored early and often on their way to a 12-1 win over Vidor, managing one run on three hits compared to Lumberton’s 12 runs on 11 hits.

JV Lady Pirates defeat Silsbee, fall to BC

• The Vidor Lady Pirate junior varsity softball team and the Silsbee Lady Tigers were tied 0-0 as play began in the third inning, but by the time play was ended by te scorekeeper, the Lady Pirates held a 5-4 lead.

Eleven Lady Pirates named to 21-4A All-District soccer team

Eleven Vidor Lady Pirates were selected to the District 21-4A All-District soccer team April 9 including District MVP, four First Team selections, three Second Team selections and three Honorable Mentions.

Lady Pirates defeat Silsbee, Bridge City

After a slow start, the Vidor Lady Pirates exploded for six runs in the fourth inning to defeat the Silsbee Lady Tigers 9-3 Tuesday in Vidor. Vidor got on the board first when Khloie Andrus hits a hard ground ball and reaches first on an error and scored on a Gracie Matherne ground out.

Lady Pirate soccer season ends with playoff loss

The Vidor Lady Pirates enjoyed another winning soccer season and playoff run that came to an end in Santa Fe as the Bay City Blackcats held on for a 3-1 win Tuesday. The Blackcats scored first on a penalty kick and led Vidor 2-0 at the half.
