Dorothy Loraine Powell, 85, of Vidor, TX, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024. A native and lifelong resident of Vidor, Dorothy dedicated her life to caring for others, not just within her own family but for many in the community.

Beloved wife, cherished mother, and adored Nanaw, Jenny Ruth Fawcett Harrington, passed from her earthly life on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the age of 63 years in Evadale, Texas, and is now resting in the presence of Jesus.

Randall Wirt Bloss, 79, of Vidor, passed away on August 4, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. A longtime resident of Vidor, Randall served his country with honor during the Vietnam Conflict as a member of the US Army.

Paul Anthony Page, 51, of Vidor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9th, 2024, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home in Groves. Born in Silsbee, Paul spent much of his life in Vidor, where he became a familiar face and a trusted friend to many.

Bennie Jo Brown, born to Dr. Horace and Alta Franklin on July 15, 1939 in Thorsby, Alabama, peacefully passed away at her home in Vidor, Texas on the evening of August 1, 2024, at the age of 85.

Alford “Al” Connely Layfield, 89, of Vidor, passed away at his residence. A native of New Orleans, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and a dedicated member of Turning Point Church.Al honorably served his country in the U.S. Army as part of the U.S. occupation force in Japan.
