Rayford Earl Quave, 81, of Vidor, died Friday, May 7th, 2021 at his home. He was a longtime resident of Vidor for 51 years and member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Vidor. He retired after working for General Electric for 20 years.

Ronald "Chief" Bolen, 85, of Lavon, TX, died Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at his home. He has been a resident of Lavon for the past 15 years. He retired as a chief from the U.S. Navy.

Maurine Cathey, 92 of Vidor died Monday, May 10th, 2021 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Maurine was a member of Vidor Church of Christ and retired from Beaumont Neurological Hospital as an Registered Nurse.

Maxine Croom, 90 of Vidor died Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at Pelican Bay in Beaumont. A native of Oakdale, LA, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Maxine was a member of United Methodist Church and was a retired bus driver for VISD. She enjoyed bowling and dancing.

Millie McFarland, 48 of Vidor died Monday, May 10th, 2021 at her residence. A native of Houston, Texas, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Millie was the Assistant Director of Child Nutrition for VISD.

Lori A. Lyons

Lori A. Lyons, 56 of Vidor died Monday, May 11th, 2021 at her residence. A native of Beaumont, she was raised in Evadale before becoming a longtime resident of Vidor. Lori was a lab tech with Goodyear Chemical in Beaumont. She was a funny, kindhearted person that loved all animals.

Wyona Lee Moore

Wyona Lee Moore, 72, died Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 at her residence. Wyona was a longtime resident of Vidor, Texas where she was known as The Cake Lady, She retired from VISD as a bus driver and was a Nurse at St Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Ruby Jones Matkin

Ruby Jones Matkin, 83, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was born on July 31, 1937 in Hardin County, Texas to the late Samuel Monroe Jones and Malishia Whittaker Jones. Ruby loved traveling and reading. She was also a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Funeral services for Anni Rhoden, 94, of Groves, Texas, will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.
