In recent weeks the Vidor Police Department responded to many calls. What follows are but a few of the incidents that required police action. Readers should remember that any person listed below who was arrested or taken into custody has not been found guilty of any wrongdoing or crime.

Vidor School Trustees named Outstanding School Board

The Vidor I.S.D. School Board of Trustees has been named as the Education Service Center Region 5, 2020 Outstanding School Board of the year. The Vidor I.S.D.

OCESD#1 transitions to Allegiance Mobile Health on August 16, 2020

Plans are being finalized for a seamless transition of emergency medical services from Acadian Ambulance Service to Allegiance Mobile Health for all residents, visitors, and travelers in the Orange County Emergency Services District #1.
Scott Golemon, a civil and family law attorney currently practicing in Montgomery County, TX has won the GOP primary election to be that party’s nominee for Chief Justice of the Texas 9 th Court of Appeals. He won his primary runoff by a mere 322 votes. Only 492 Orange County Republicans went to the polls on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 to cast their ballots in-person during the Orange County Republican Party Primary Runoff Election last week.
