Juniors (4th & 5th grade) collected canned food items to help the Rotary Club and United Christian Care Center feed the community. The scouts also help load the canned foods on the day of the drive at Walmart.

New school shaping up

With much of the foundation work completed, workers have begun erecting the steel structure for the new Oak Forest Elementary School on Highway 12. The Vidor ISD expects to reopen Oak Forest Elementary around Christmas 2021.
