Firemen battle pre-dawn house fire on Ellis Lane

On the morning of October 3, 2022, at approximately 5:12 AM, OCESD#1 was requested for service due to a structure fire. Fire crews arrived on scene in the 300 Block of Ellis Lane to find a single-story structure home that was fully involved. Fire crews deployed one 1.

The name is on the facade, exterior awnings are nearing completion and the interior is nearing completion but the hoped for November occupancy of the Oak Forest Elementary has been pushed back again.
