Pair in stolen car charged with attempted capital murder

Two Louisiana men, including a 17-year old, face attempted capital murder charges after a Vidor police officer pursued their stolen vehicle into Louisiana. The officer and suspects exchanged gunfire after the pair crashed their vehicle.

Homecoming

Vidor ISD’s annual Homecoming celebration is Friday with the Homecoming Parade scheduled for a 2 p.m start. More than 100 entries are expected with the parade route beginning at Filmore Street and ending in the 100 block of North Main.
